Creative + Competitive = Success

Instead of whining about the way things are or how they have changed, let’s teach our children to adjust and figure it out.
College too expensive? Excel in high school and try for scholarships or grants….or….take a few classes while working an entry level job while rising in the company by learning more skills. Maybe that entry level job allows you to attend school on their dime, ask, if you show potential your question may open the door for you.
No medical coverage? Look for work that maybe pays less but offers medical benefits and take charge of your health by being conscience of what you are doing to prevent issues.
High food costs? Stop eating fast food and prepared drinks (alcohol, soda etc), avoid the freezer aisle and learn to prepare healthy choices.
Need a place to live? Share an apartment or home with someone or purchase a basic small home.
Surround yourself with people that are more knowledgeable and have more life experience than you and engage them in conversations that help you to learn and understand different ways of doing things.
Stop wasting time whining about what other people have accomplished and work on your life and goals, challenge yourself (the streets are only paved with gold if you do the work). Build relationships through honesty and trust, work hard at everything you do, find something you love to do and strive to be the best and you have a great chance of being the CEO of a company (yours or not), but more importantly, be the CEO of your life.
One more thing, whatever you make, it is not how much you earn but how you spend what you earn. Save, save, save for unexpected occurrences (they should be expected), because they will happen…..it is called life.
